Las Vegas Cheerleading Instructor Arrested for… Pimping?

Saturday, June 9th, 2007

She was an instructor at the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy of all things too. Amazing how many people in this town work somewhere by day and at night they are moonlighting being a hooker, pimp or dealer. I remember when I started working at one particular agency and there was a cute sweet girl that worked there only nights as an escort but come to find out she worked for the district attorneys office by day as some sort of clerk. Pretty risky!

Here’s the article about the incident where the instructor was sending girls to calls in hotels. When I got the paper this morning I flipped through and saw the article, I kind of giggled at the headline of, “Coach Charged with Pimping” but then recognized one of the girls’ mug shots. At least she wasn’t the one held on some massive bond. I love how the girl on the end is wearing a huge grin and she was the one charged also with possession of cocaine. I don’t think I would be smiling!

As Promised: My Las Vegas NBA All Star Recap

Saturday, March 24th, 2007

Well I have been missing in action for a little while and I apologize that I haven’t been able to keep up since I have been sick and taking a little break. Never fear though, I have returned!

In my last post I had said I was going to report back about the aftermath of the NBA all star weekend. I didn’t forget and will keep to my promise to make a little summary. 362 people were arrested that weekend and I remember reading in the paper that over 100 of them were prostitutes alone. I couldn’t imagine being arrested at that time so I was super careful about where I went and how I looked and making sure all of the customers checked out ok. There were a few shootings and thousands of people decided to skip their flights on Sunday so that Monday morning there was a line that went from Southwest Airlines (which is at the end of the drop off area) all the way past the other airline drop off points and down some more. I wish I could have seen a picture of that. I think the only main problem was with Southwest airlines and most people flew here on their planes. That original article in the paper said that the last of the stranded travelers went back home Tuesday evening.

Fights were breaking out every where. Even with as many police on the street I am sure there would have been twice as many arrests if they could have kept up with everyone. It could have been a lot worse but I think they would have been able to handle it.

In other news, I am back to working and my new testing of clients has put me more at ease. I have been sticking with telling the client that the agency fee gets me there and the both of us naked. Once I accomplish that step then I tell them to touch me just to be extra sure. I haven’t had too many problems with guys getting naked except for a few shy ones and one guy who thought I was the cop. I kind of snicker at people who think that I am vice but I just ask them the question: why would they set up a sting to bust tourists that pump money into the local economy? Vice thinks that I am the one taking away from the city, not the tourists. The only sting I have heard of where they picked up clients was last June during a bust called “Operation Pimp” where they picked up 180 girls in two days and some clients who were picking up the streetwalkers on Tropicana or Fremont. One of the clients included a part time judge who also teaches at the community college. Other than that, I haven’t heard of busts on the clients.

Anyway… Glad to be back and will definitely keep up with posting.

A Rare Vegas Rain Storm

Wednesday, February 14th, 2007

Yes it’s actually raining in the desert. I love the rain lots except when I am working. It turns a night that could be good into a no call night. If you don’t have people walking down the strip or around town then you have no way of reaching them with advertising except with Internet or Yellowpages. Only one of the companies I work for now even use the Yellowpages and the rest rely on advertising on the streets. The reason why more companies don’t use the phone book is because of the incredibly expensive rates you have to pay every six months to keep an ad. Takes so many calls constantly to even break even on those ads. I understand why most companies stick to people passing out cards or little magazine stands.

The only call I received tonight was from my Eros ad from a guy at Circus Circus who had a bad listening problem. I really hate it when people call and don’t say hi or “my name is” and immediately just ask, “what do you charge per hour”. I respond with, “Well I like to come meet you and talk to you in person first but my entertainment starts at $$ and goes up from there. I don’t have any specific rates for hour or half hour it just ranges depending on the level of entertainment.” I know quite a few girls in other cities work on an hour or half hour rates, but what girls ends up doing around here is charging for whatever act they perform. I do take my time and all because I want the customers to enjoy themselves and not think I am just running off. Anyway, this guy kept pushing me to say what I do for my minimum price and what sexual acts does it include. I say that is illegal and I don’t like to talk on the phone anyway like I said before. I suggested for me to come by and meet him under no obligation (to perform my little tests so I feel more comfortable) but he just responded with an “I’ll call you back”. He called back 10 minutes later again asking me more pointed sexual questions and how much to get out of the atm. I again repeated that I would love to come meet him but I cannot answer his questions without coming over first. He said another “I’ll call you back”, but of course he didn’t. I am sure I frustrate a lot of guys by saying that I would like to come over first but they have to understand that no one can talk about sexual acts over the phone. In the end, maybe I am the only frustrated one

The Polar Opposite of Las Vegas..

Sex In Zion

I stumbled upon the article above somehow and was just amazed at how things work sometimes in Utah, our neighbor to the northeast. Mormons have quite a presence in Las Vegas (after all, they really were the first ones here after the Native Americans), but I would never imagine this type of service ever working nor could I ever imagine myself ever trying to work for this type of service. Apparently in the long run it didn’t last, but I am sure there are quite a few other services that are around today.

When I went to the courthouse to apply for my Sexually Oriented Business License from the city, the cheerful clerk’s smile slid downward when she saw what I was applying for. I was fingerprinted and interviewed by a detective who talked of perverts, bestiality, sin and the awful things that could happen to girls sent to meet strange men in hotel rooms. He handed me a pamphlet that began: “She drives carefully, but as fast as she can. She reaches for a piece of gum. It will do until she gets home and scrubs that taste and filth from her mouth.”

I couldn’t hold in my snickers after reading that part…
