Christmas Is Over And I Am Back In Vegas
Sunday, December 30th, 2007Well I know its been a while and I really hate that I got behind on my blog. I just got through reading some of my comments and glad to see I was missed! hehe. Everything has been better and I usually go out of town in December for a bit of a break to go see family and such. Plus December just *blows* (no pun intended!) I have often bailed out of Vegas for the past few years after the Rodeo leaves town because it dies down so bad that you end up spending more on gas or just food a day than you are making. I’d rather spend that boring time with family and friends! This year right after Rodeo started there was this odd phenomenon of a fight weekend. Usually big boxing matches bring the creme de la creme of whatever nationality the fighters are. If its a Latin fighter it’s like the Mexican invasion. If it’s two people like Mayweather and Holyfield, it gets pretty ghetto and crazy around town. The fight the first weekend of December was Mayweather versus Hatton who is an English boy who is some sort of home town hero. I wondered if any males from the UK were even left over there that weekend because it seemed like they all hopped on a plane and went to Vegas. I was running around like a mad man for 3 days. The time change for them made my schedule wacky! It would be dead and a doornail around 9pm-4am and then it was non stop calls until 4pm the next day.Girls always talk about their best and worst nationality of customers (I’ve even rated it on my old blog). My opinion of the English? Totally hit or miss as far as making money. South English (Londoners and other cities in the south) generally spend some good cash because heck.. the American dollar is poor! They get more for their money! Northern English (Birmingham, Manchester… which it seems Hatton was from up north) are generally cheap and can be pretty aggressive. So it was like a huge swing that weekend. It was either good money or nothing. Sorry but I don’t have an hour all inclusive session for $200. I think Mexico is about that much these days. hehAnyway I must hustle the next few days. New Years Eve in Vegas is nuts and can’t really work until 5am when the Strip reopens. I will try and not drink in the mean time… ha ha!
