The Las Vegas Courtesan

I already talked about my latest case and it being resolved but the first case I am still dealing with but worked something out with the courts. One of the things a lot of first time offenders in Las Vegas have to do is take a class that is an AIDS/STD awareness course. I am sure a lot of states offer this but it sure is a pointless thing to do.

I feel like I am taking a class that was designed for students to take when they are in junior high and have low self esteem or need some sort of motivational speaker to talk to them. Yes, they talk about STD’s and all but the rest of it is talking about principals that are just elementary and insulting to your intelligence pertaining to why you are a prostitute. The more I get into it, the more it makes steam come out of my ears. I personally think that every girl in the sex industry should take a class that clearly defines safe sex practices and identifying diseases. Heck I think every person period should take a class learning that. There is stuff they don’t teach you in high school that everyone should know like never ever use any petroleum-based product with a condom (lotions, Vaseline, etc). A lot of people don’t know that and it’s a very important thing.

This “course” is basically saying your parents didn’t teach you guidance through cooperation and just basically told you “do this don’t do that”. The other thing that got me peeved is how this is all about power and control and that I am forcing bad behaviors on others like they are a victim. I don’t recall taking the sex offenders course. I think that mentality is really backwards. The other thing is that I must believe that I am fearful of anyone else having control and must have all of the power to myself. I just don’t get what this class is about. It’s like a whole bunch of different principals rolled into one that don’t really pertain to the fact that I was arrested for solicitation. Oh and did I mention how much the class is? $150. It could have been worse though because the alcohol and drug addiction class is $305 .. I think the anger management one costs the same. The cost of those two classes alone deterred me from ever getting mad or drinking and driving. I think they should lower the cost of the anger management class because that price would make anyone throw their computer out of the window in a fit of rage. Anyway I am done venting… back to my studies.
