The Las Vegas Courtesan

So the couple that I talked about standing me up in this entry surprised me by calling me on Sunday saying they were in town yet again and hoped to see me. I was glad and cringed at the same time. I didn’t want to waste more time trying to meet up with them but at least this time it was for a Sunday, and not a busy Saturday night. I said sure, 11 pm was fine and meet up at the Palazzo again.

We chit chatted and I tried to nicely explain that the last time ended up being a waste of 2 hours or so of my time. Since I work for services I have to tell them I am off (or “calling off” as we say) because I have an appointment. In order for me to get places on time and not get caught up at a hotel, I have to do this about 1 hour ahead of time. They mentioned, “sorry about last time, it won’t happen again”. We shall see.

I went to their room, got tipped a little extra for my wasted time the previous time. The husband told his wife to go shower up and change into her new lingerie outfit. While she did that he was showing me their new toys and was seeing if I could work with them. He pulled out a drawer and showed an array of lubes and a vibrator… a blindfold and I forget what else. Then he pointed to the bed and showed how there were four ties attached to the four corners of the bed. I have never done bondage type of calls but I would give it a shot. So someone else asked me about my opinion on the whole ridiculously over-rated Spitzer sex-scandal and his involvement in a “prostitution ring”. I don’t see what the whole huge deal was that the media and the New York government immediately wanted him to step down. As far as I know, he didn’t lie under oath. The new governor has admitted now to using cocaine and marijuana so how does that make him any better of a governor than Spitzer? They both broke the law, neither done in front or to a law enforcement officer, so who knows what really happened? Most importantly… who cares? I sure don’t. I don’t know if Spitzer was that swell of a governor but it’s a shame he lost his job for this and the replacement isn’t much better of a “moral character”. I hate that word by the way… morals. Its something that the right winged religious fanatics care about and that’s the voice that gets heard the most in our government. I wish our country would get out of the Victorian Age of thinking and get a wake up call.

I can’t find the poll but a friend of mine told me of a poll he saw on the Times’ web site about prostitution and should it be legal or not. He said that a large majority said they think it should be legalized and regulated. Wow… just wish I could find that!

So before I got sick and had company in from out of town, one of the last nights I worked (I guess the friday before last) I got a surprising call! Since Las Vegas is known for it’s tourism and I don’t get to depend on regulars, I am always surprised and happy when people call me back. So I got a call from one of the couples I mentioned tipping me well in this entry a few weeks ago. Since it was so soon after the original booking I distinctly remembered how much I got and what all was involved. Awesome… a decent call to look forward to! We planned to meet up the next night around 11pm after they went to dinner and a show.

I verified their room at the Venetian, made a point to tell my services that I had a booking and waited to hear from them when they got out at 11. The hour came and I called the cell phone and room phone. No answer. I call 20 min later and the man answered to say that the show STARTED around 11 and they would call me as soon as they got out. Damn… okay. So 12:30 rolls around and I call. No answer… but 10 min later I get a call back. Hooray! They said they are in a cab line on the way back to their hotel. I head that direction and get a call in 10 minutes saying they got to the Venetian but the wife is deciding to postpone now until the following night. Ugh. I had already mentioned when booking that this was the ONLY night I could do something since I had out of town guests the following night. He said, “well let me call you back in 10 while we talk about this”. Time goes by, nothing heard back and no answer from phones yet again.

I texted the man that I was upset that my friday night prime time was wasted on miscommunication of appointment time and an eventual cancellation. The next day I get a text back saying they were sorry and wanted to take me to dinner and a show. I, of course replied, thanks but I don’t have the time. Only enough time for a small private party since I had guests coming in and didn’t want to be rude to them. They insisted on dinner and a show still and I just said again, I really can’t. Tried calling? No answer or replies.

Ok so I took forever to tell that story but it really ticked me. This is when I wish I could take credit card deposits! heh. The first meeting went well and it just is a huge let down that the second meeting was as bad as it gets for a time waster.

I guess thats what comes with being more popular. Ah well its worth it in the end when it comes down to business.

So today was the latest prankster from New Mexico who talked faster than anything I have ever heard plus his heavy hispanic accent made me say “huh” and “what” every two seconds. After finally understanding him he wanted to be “friends” with me and talk on the phone. Sorry but no can do. I asked if he was coming to Vegas and he replied with “maybe”. I said when you are for sure and here in Vegas I would love to come see you but until then, I’m sorry I can’t chat on the phone. I come home to get ready for the day and he calls back again saying that he wants to come to Las Vegas but isn’t sure and “how much for a blow job”. I explain that prostitution is illegal and my normal speech and he asked me yet again after that. I hung up. Called back AGAIN and I just made sure he would never call again so I was silly and said I was going to call the cops if he did it again. Heh well it worked!

The funniest call this week? Oklahoma boy with a strong accent calls up on a Saturday at 3pm asking an odd request:
“I would just like someone to come over, wax my eyebrows and talk dirty in my ear”
I could barely hold back a laugh. I said I can definitely do the second request but not the first because well… I am an escort not and aesthetician! He said “well why not? I am not asking for sex I just want my eyebrows waxed and talked dirty to!” Again I repeated I can’t fulfill that request… and he said back:
“Well what kind of entertainer are you?!”
I hung up. I have to say that was about the funniest call.

So this week is convention season galore! March and such is known for the heavy conventioneer traffic plus spring break students (I am not too fond of) and March Madness. This week has been ConExpo (construction guys love hot girls), ShoWest (stage and production convention who also like hot girls) and some other smaller nerdy computer conventions.
