A Good Article, A Bad Friday Night, and The Chicken Ranch Experience
A friend of mine recently found this article about how prostitution and the escort economy is going. I was pretty shocked that such a high profile business magazine would right an article about the escort business and how much of money goes into it and how many man actually participate (I think the figure is a little on the light side… it says 700,000 men when I believe they get that in the western half of the U.S. alone). It breaks down everything from the typical average joe wanting to blow a little cash to the middle of the road client who pays for dinner and the date afterwards, and finally to the high roller who jets his date around the world in his airplane while distracting the wife at home with a spa treatment. I found humor in it since they pinned it pretty good (and the pricing as well though I would say the average client spends more here in Las Vegas on an escort than say… Miami). I applaud them for actually including it into the economy.
Anyway… I had an up and down weekend along followed with a good Monday. Friday night was terrible. I had made some money on two calls and I went to the MGM Signature section and saw a British couple. I collected the fee and they seemed to agree and completely understand what was going on and that I worked off of tips. Unfortunately, after getting naked and dancing, they didn’t want to tip very much (the company’s fee was the same amount as what they wanted to spend which just isn’t fair) and wanted some crazy threesome. Sorry but I just couldn’t stay… so I try to get them a cheaper girl and they freak. They don’t want me they don’t want anyone they just want the fee back. Its non refundable just as I told them before collecting it and I get on the phone with the girl at the agency who booked the call and as I put my phone down the guy grabs it and says, “Let me talk to her!” I said please give me back my phone that is my property. He refuses and hangs up on the phone girl. He says give me the money back or you don’t get your phone. I try calling from the room phone they wont let me. Every time I pick up the room phone to try and call my boss (and my friend) and he hangs it up from the other phone in the room. I am stuck and this goes on for like half an hour until he picks up the phone, calls security and says that someone has broken into his room and needs help. I freak out… I would have called security first but I am officially trespassing by being on an MGM property so when they see my ID I am screwed (and perhaps be arrested). I would have left my phone (if it was backed up recently and I have insurance so it would have cost me $50) and chunked the one he had in the tub and walked out. I was just stuck and macing 2 people ganging up on me is next to impossible without knowing some sort of fighting skills. Sigh…
Saturday I spent at the Chicken Ranch for the Sin City Chamber of Commerce’s annual Chili Cookoff and Golf Tournament. Quite a lot of fun and I was running on no sleep after that horrible event the night before (what I SHOULD have done kept racing through my head over and over). Had quite a bit of fun and beers and was surprised to meet Amanda from texasgoldengirl.com and a representative from Desiree Alliance. I wish I had been a bit more talkative and gotten a chance to get some interviews from the working girls at the Ranch but alas, I kind of was shy and didn’t get take the opportunity. All I know is I have a better understanding of what girls charge and how I don’t sound so ridiculous now charging what I do in Las Vegas. It’s just too far of a drive for a brothel, in my opinion.

please email me, I would really appreciate it. I tried to match your pics here to the ones on Eros and it is very difficult. In addition, I called 2 other girls asking them if they had a blog..one said “what is a blog honey” and the other said “let me blog u”…seriously, I not only need the attractive appearance but the personality. I will only be in town May 11 to the 15th, so I would appreciate an email on how I can contact u. Thank you so much. Jay
May 6th, 2008 at 9:12 pmSince I talk so openly on my blog about what I do, it is incriminating to myself to purposely contact people to solicit business. Prostitution is illegal here and I would surely be setting myself up for disaster if I solely used this blog as my advertisement for my services. Been in trouble a few times.. like to keep that in my past 🙂
May 6th, 2008 at 11:19 pmps… it’s really not that difficult to find me! heh.
what happened with the Signature? did you get out of there without incident and WITH your phone. Those people sounded like assholes!
May 7th, 2008 at 7:51 pmYes, finish that story please. How did you finally get out of it?
May 8th, 2008 at 5:33 pmYea what a horrible story teller I am! I made it out of the room having to give back the fee (and getting my phone back) once he got on the phone telling security the massive amounts of bullshit. What really sucks is once you call and tell the company you have the fee, you are then responsible for it. If someone is such an asshole you have to give it back.. you have to pay for it. Quite a few companies let it slide but this company in particular only deals with cab/limo referrals which they must keep the cabbies happy in order to keep the business going. It sucks but really… this is a very rare thing to happen to me. It was my decision and believe me I was kicking myself in the ass for having to pay for it…
May 11th, 2008 at 3:17 pmDo you carry or have you considered carrying self-defense gear (maze, taser, etc.)? At the very least, pointing a taser at him would have made him think twice about whether or not to play stupid games like that.
May 13th, 2008 at 2:14 pmI actually haven’t carried mace in a while.. I know that is pretty unsafe of me but the last time I did and the call turned bad I took the mace out to use on the guy and the guy was so quick as to grab it when it was halfway out of my purse that I lost it. It was nuts and since then I just haven’t replaced it.
May 13th, 2008 at 8:11 pmIt seems to be rather difficult to find you actually! It sounds like you work for a number of agencies, but also have some independent ads out there? The sheer volume of information is staggering – is there any way to at least post a short list of reputable web sites, some of which you may or may not be found on? 🙂
December 11th, 2008 at 11:16 amJust an update and comment. Glad you were able to join us last year at the Chicken Ranch Experience after such a horrible night. This year the experience is April 25 at noon, another great party is planned so hope you can join us again.
