The Concrete Convetion: My Saving Grace
Well I say that but I have only had 2 calls who were actually here for the concrete show (one ended up working out and the other was okay money). I don’t know what happened around town but all of the sudden things started picking up and my phone starting ringing. Most importantly those calls that I went to were actually turning out to be decent money calls instead of a whole bunch of pranksters.
Escorting in Las Vegas is amazing. There is no rhyme or reason to the ebb and flow of this town. One day will be crazy busy and you see HORDES of people on the Strip but yet all of the agencies and my web ads are quiet. Not a peep. Then the next week it will be a huge convention but they just don’t spend money. Then the next week it seems like no one is walking around the Strip but the calls I get will be scarce but huge money. No way of predicting things. I would be better off predicting the weather in Las Vegas than I would predicting how much money I will make a night.
Glad to see things are picking up. I just hope I don’t jinx myself.

I jinxed myself last week. I went from a full week of bookings to a full week of cancellations in 2.5 seconds flat.
there is no rhyme or reason… i know some moths are historically better then others but with election this year and the crazy stock market who knows what the days will bring.
i feel ya!
January 24th, 2008 at 10:54 amHello Las Vegas Lovely! I giggled at this – do concrete men talk concrete in bed? I’ve been to a few bizarre conferences with people myself and at one I attended the sessions too with my very own fake name and fake job title. That was fun – I wish I could tell you what I ‘became’ for the day as it was so outrageous but it’s a bit too traceable. You’ll just have to imagine… 😉
Seasonality is a strange one, isn’t it? I was warned by one or two people that Christmas and August can be quiet for escorts but that doesn’t actually fit with my experience. My experience is like yours, i.e. that it’s totally random and you might as well try and predict the weather.
Incidentally, I don’t think you’ve jinxed yourself and I hope you’ve luckied yourself instead – would that be my cue to rub you? 🙂

January 27th, 2008 at 4:14 pmThankfully I did not jinx myself and the last day of that convention actually ended up being one of my best nights in many months. One was a large party for these concrete guys and had a pretty unlimited budget for 4 girls. I don’t know why they spend more money than the Broadcasters, but they do!
January 30th, 2008 at 9:14 pmChristmas is only weird here because of not many people travel close to the Christmas holiday but when I worked elsewhere that was the best season. September is the second most dead month here. Just start of school and no big events.
Great work.
October 28th, 2008 at 7:52 pmNot that I’m impressed a lot, but this is more than I expected for when I found a link on Digg telling that the info is awesome. Thanks.
