The Las Vegas Courtesan

Everyone is curious about how my life works. Customers like to ask me a lot of questions.. they find it to be such a mysterious lifestyle and want to hear stories about the craziest things I have seen or why do I do this for my job. I don’t think I’ll write just about my crazy stories, although there will be plenty of them in here, for sure.. (that could go on forever! ) I will post one in my next blog, though, about something that happened today… I found it humorous.

How about this… I need to tell a little bit more about how do I work out here! There are so many ways to make money in Las Vegas as a working girl. There are outcall services, web listings (such as Eros.com and Craigslist.org or my own personal website), working in casino bars (aka “freelancing”), and the least desired method… walking the street (aka “walking the track”). I personally work for a good handful of services in town and have ads on the websites I listed. Every man wants the independent girl who doesn’t have to deal with a service but its hard to get around it sometimes, really.

In short I’ll explain what a service is..it’s hard to ignore their gaudy billboard truck signs running all hours of the day or night, the 300 ads in the yellow pages, the men flicking cards and trying to put them in tourists’ hands on the strip, the little magazine stands on every corner, or undercover ads on the weblisting sites I posted about earlier. The good thing for me is I don’t have to pay for advertising dollars! Every service has its fee, though, to send a girl out. They have to make money back for spending so much on advertising and that’s what the fee pays.. everything after the fee is what goes to me – well most everything. In the end I have to give back 20% to the girl who answers the phone (the “phone girl,”) plus another small fee to the company. Sounds like a rip but it’s all easier for me because I am only sent to where they think will be a decent call. Of course things don’t work out every time and the only time people complain is because they misunderstood what the fee got them. People forget and assume that prostitution is legal in this county, so it is sometimes assumed that the fee gets them some sort of sexual act, or that the girl gets a cut. I wish! I would love that 🙂

So there is a little inside info on how some things work here in the Las Vegas outcall/escort business. I want to talk more about what I do and it would be impossible to do so without telling a little background info.. with all the lingo (which is something that’s still pretty cheesy to me, to be honest) it would be really easy to get lost!
